Captain Table Tennis Club
Submitted by Capt. Axel D. Casareo
Captain Table Tennis Club is at Uniwide Metro-Mall, Las Pinas city, Philippines.
I have built a table tennis club in my area, "Captain Table Tennis Club" with 7 tables at the start and plan to add one more table for training or many balls.
It opened on 19 September 2010 with 51 table tennis player enthusiast and having an area of 413sq m venue.
Please come and visit and enjoy playing table tennis at CTTC.
All visitors are welcome to play and learn.
It costs 80php to play whole day for non-students and 40php only for students, and I provide free mineral drinking water. Children below 10years old are free to play including all LESS-FORTUNATE street children.
The club is open everyday from 8:30am till 10pm, except if metro-mall is closed on national holidays.
We have 7 tables and 1 Robo-Pong robot donated by a National player.
We have one of the best playing areas as commented by many players - that’s why they come back.
Peak day is Saturday when we have up to 50 players. Daily, more or less 10 players.
Local competitions are held at times.
We are open for memberships at Php500 for one month and play all you can.
Our club is making history even its not great, some members are winning championship on other clubs tournament.
Captain Table Tennis Club attracts many students and non-students to play and enjoy exercise at the same time.
The best thing about our club is that even some parents are proud of it, because many elementary students became winner in tournament, mostly many high school students when they go try-out for college and university Varsities, lot of them get in with 100% free tuitions fee, I believe these are the best achievements the CTTC can give to all enthusiasts.
We have 3 coaches that train students and non-students. At time a National Head coach play weekly sat and teach some players.
I was recently designated as the new Secretary General of the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAPHIL)
