Eugene Table Tennis Club is in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
The club offers a warm invitation to players of all standards to come and enjoy our top class facilities. This is the premium playing experience in our area. We have approximately 50 members who's playing standards range from beginners to ~2000 USTTA rated players.
We are located inside the Boys & Girls Club of Emerald Valley at the Westmoreland Center, 1545 W. 22nd Ave Eugene, OR 97405.
We play on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6.30-8.30pm and Saturdays 1.30-3.30pm.
Eugene Table Tennis Club has six new Joola 3000 SC tables in a large gym with wooden floors and good lighting.
The drop-in fee for visitors is $5 per session, a one month membership costs $40, a full annual membership costs $250. We offer special discounts for students and families, and payment plans for those that wish to spread out the cost.
We supply XuShaofa 3-star seamless poly balls and have plenty of loaner blades available. A robot is available for practice on request. We also offer lightly used rubbers for players to try or purchase, and a gluing service.
We play regular singles and doubles round robins within the club (held approximately every other Saturday). Our players compete in regional tournaments.
There is a strong emphasis on helping others improve their play. Our stronger players are willing to give informal coaching via play or multi-ball sessions. Formal coaching via video lessons is available from Grant Brown on request. We also offer free coaching for kids via a program we run through the Boys & Girls Club of Emerald Valley. We also offer clinics for beginners and intermediate players intermittently.
While our emphasis is on table tennis as a sport and source of exercise, our club has a strong social component. We hold club dinners, barbecues, and interact socially after play.
