Fairbanks Interior Table Tennis Club, Fairbanks, Alaska, USA.

If you want to play in the most northern table tennis club in the United States, come play with us! We're located in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Visitors are welcome to join us in the University of Alaska, Fairbanks main gym at the Patty Center.

We play 2-4 times a week, for 2-2.5 hours depending on activities at UAF.

You'll find six Stiga tables on a beautiful wooden floor generously spaced with good overhead lighting.

Clean gym shoes are a must.

Bring $10 to help us pay our user fee.

Anywhere from 10-16 players show up at a time.

Our format is usually singles at the beginning rotating from table to table, so everyone can play as many different styles as possible.

We often play doubles toward the end of our session.

Hardbat players are welcome as well.

We play a lot of Hardbat especially the first three months of the year, getting ready for the Jerry Smith Alaska Hardbat Championships.

This is an open tournament, usually the first part of April.

We have Singles, Doubles and a Recreation Class.

This tournament is named after our friend Jerry Smith who loved playing table tennis and was a great ambassador for the sport.

At Fairbanks Interior Table Tennis (FITT) you'll find a variety of skill levels, ages and paddles of folks who love to play the sport.

Our main goal is to have fun and get exercise! If you want some of that, come join us.

Our club also hosts the Table Tennis Tournament for the Alaska International Senior Games, which are held in mid-August every year.

On even years the AISG tournament is a qualifying site for the Nationals Senior Games Championships.

For more about AISG and the dates on the Table Tennis Tournament check out www.Alaskaisg.org

If you are from out of town or out of the USA you'll enjoy checking out our Gold Mining History. Plus, we are just north a couple of hours from Denali National Park, which is an awesome place to see wildlife and the highest peaks in North America!

So far we have had players from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Nigeria, Russia, Uzbekistan, China, India, Sweden, and Canada play in our club.

You can find our schedule and more about our club activities at our web site:
