Fairbanks Interior Table Tennis Club, Fairbanks, Alaska, USA.

If you want to play in the most northern table tennis club in the United States, come play with us! We're located in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Visitors are welcome to join us in the University of Alaska, Fairbanks main gym at the Patty Center.

We play 2-4 times a week, for 2-2.5 hours depending on activities at UAF.

You'll find six Stiga tables on a beautiful wooden floor generously spaced with good overhead lighting.

Clean gym shoes are a must.

Bring $10 to help us pay our user fee.

Anywhere from 10-16 players show up at a time.

Our format is usually singles at the beginning rotating from table to table, so everyone can play as many different styles as possible.

We often play doubles toward the end of our session.

Hardbat players are welcome as well.

We play a lot of Hardbat especially the first three months of the year, getting ready for the Jerry Smith Alaska Hardbat Championships.

This is an open tournament, usually the first part of April.

We have Singles, Doubles and a Recreation Class.

This tournament is named after our friend Jerry Smith who loved playing table tennis and was a great ambassador for the sport.

At Fairbanks Interior Table Tennis (FITT) you'll find a variety of skill levels, ages and paddles of folks who love to play the sport.

Our main goal is to have fun and get exercise! If you want some of that, come join us.

Our club also hosts the Table Tennis Tournament for the Alaska International Senior Games, which are held in mid-August every year.

On even years the AISG tournament is a qualifying site for the Nationals Senior Games Championships.

For more about AISG and the dates on the Table Tennis Tournament check out www.Alaskaisg.org

If you are from out of town or out of the USA you'll enjoy checking out our Gold Mining History. Plus, we are just north a couple of hours from Denali National Park, which is an awesome place to see wildlife and the highest peaks in North America!

So far we have had players from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Nigeria, Russia, Uzbekistan, China, India, Sweden, and Canada play in our club.

You can find our schedule and more about our club activities at our web site:

How this site is financed

AllAboutTableTennis.com (AATT) is completely free to use.

However, it's run by one person only (Martin Hughes) and has high running costs that need to be paid for.

This web site receives thousands of visitors every day and therefore, to keep it completely free to use, advertising and affiliate links appear on this web site.

However, these adverts and affiliate links do not influence the advice and recommendations given on this web site.

My intention has always been to give you the best possible information, advice and recommendations, based on my 48+ years involvement in the sport.

Advertising

Adverts appear automatically on my site, provided by third parties, and are not directly controlled by me.

Affiliate links*

Affiliate links are links to other web sites who sell related table tennis products.

These work in the same way as normal links, but when you click on it, the link is tracked to AATT and, if you make a purchase, may generate a small payment to me.

They do not cost you anything to use, and any products you choose to buy will not cost you any more than if you went directly to that web site.

These are principally links to Amazon, Megaspin and Bribar, but may include others from time to time.
