16 teams qualified to take part in the 2020 Olympic Games Womens Team Event and the seedings have been announced

The seedings have been announced for the 16 teams who qualified to take part in the 2020 Olympic Games Womens Team Event.
The team seedings were based on the individual players positions in the world ranking list issued for June 2021.
The women's team event took place from 1-5 August 2021 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.
China were the hot favourites to take the Gold medal, but Japan, Singapore and South Korea were expected to provide strong opposition.
